How does the neck contribute to persistent post-concussion symptoms?

Imagine you have taken a head knock and are suffering from headaches, dizziness and neck pain. How do you know if you have had a concussion or a neck injury? This is a problem faced by individuals and their health professionals all over the world, with implications for how these conditions are managed and how people recover from their injury. This talk will discuss our clinical research exploring the role of the neck in persistent post-concussion symptoms, with a focus on the findings from a recently completed retrospective review. Other current and potential future projects will also be discussed.
